Life Changing!
WOW – WHAT A CHANGE – After twenty some years of double/mixed vision, having to close my left eye to see a single image, being able to read only one or two pages without resting my eyes, and having headaches, also being told after eye muscle surgery that there was nothing else that could be done to help – NOT TRUE – there is help. In March of 2008 I decided to try a different doctor for my annual eye exam, I went to Dr. Teresa Seim at Mattawan Family Eye Care, after the exam Dr. Seim told me there was help, in fact she guaranteed me I could be helped and referred me to Dr. Dan Fortenbacher at WOW Vision Therapy. THANK YOU Dr. Seim, it was life changing. At my first visit Dr. Dan assured me they could help, in fact he told me they could teach old dogs new tricks and at 72 years old I was not their oldest patient. Thanks to Monica’s skill and great personality they did indeed teach ‘an old dog new tricks’ and made it fun also. I can now read with single vision without tiring, and no headaches. Thanks again Monica. My wife and I have driven the 116 miles round trip from Portage, Michigan to St. Joseph twice a week for about six months. We will not miss the drive but will sure miss the visits and our friends that make up the staff at WOW.
