Attaas Alvi
No More daily headaches!
For the past school year Attaas would come home complaining about headaches. As the evening progressed, he would be fine as long as he was playing, if he had to read for school, he would tilt his head and complain. We took Attaas to Dr. Seim at Mattawan Family Eye Care to make sure his eye sight was fine or that he did not have migraines. After a thorough exam, Dr. Seim referred us to Wow Vision Therapy. She reassured us that though it is a commitment of time and distance coming to this office it is worth the trip. She was right! Dr. Fortenbacher and his entire staff – from the front desk to each individual therapist have been absolutely wonderful. Attaas loved working with Jackie and all of the therapists. We have seen immediate and continuous improvement. Now Attaas can cross his eyes on command, can focus at any distance, his posture has improved, his handwriting has improved, no more headaches, no more tilting his head to read, can read for longer amounts of time, reading comprehension has improved and the biggest and most surprising achievement is that Attaas has never been able to ride a bike. As an assignment, he was supposed to use his last two months of therapy to learn to ride. Attaas learned in 45 minutes! We have and will continue to recommend this service and office to many others.
